Wilderquest now offers comfort and warmth in our two log cabins.The Pondview cabin sleeps 4 with two queen-sized beds, one in the loft almost touching the stars through the skylight. The Straitsview cabin has two queen sized beds and a set of bunks, sleeping 6. You need only bring your food and clothes as we are outfitted with all amenities. A warm fire, cinnamon buns and a dozen farm fresh eggs adds to your welcome.

We also provide your choice of juice and your choice of sausages or bacon in the freezer, so you can enjoy a hearty holiday breakfast. For a nominal fee, we will provide extra eggs, buns, juice and sausages or bacon.

One of the hot tubs sits on a deck overseeing the ocean with a wildlife haven just below. The Straitsview cabin features a beautiful view of the Straits of Juan de Fuca with the snow-capped Olympic Mountains just across the ocean. This slightly larger cabin has a good sized deck and sunken hot tub. What a perfect spot to watch the Swiftsure race.


With a beautiful creek, waterfalls, ponds and hours worth of trails, this 50 acre rainforest retreat provides solitude and space for our guests year round.

Our small farm with sheep and various birds plus visiting and resident wildlife make for interesting viewing for youngsters and their parents alike. For bird watchers Wilderquest is home to a resident Bald eagle family, Barred and other owls plus many more winged friends, larger and smaller. As our trail network grows, so do the reasons to return and explore the next gully or knoll. After an ocean, or pond-side campfire maybe one more hot tub before snuggling under the over-sized down comforters. The stars are much brighter out here and the lull of the waves, not too loud, but just enough...there you are, asleep.

• Pondview Cabin - $150 per Night - 7th night is free!
• Straitsview Cabin - $195 per Night - 7th night is free!

Please Note: Extra beds are available at $10 per night. Occupancy is limited to four in the Pondview Cabin and six in the Straitsview Cabin - with the exception of an infant or small child who is sleeping with parents. Gift Certificates are also available. Ask about other lodgings and activities around Sooke!
